My current office hours are Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with other varying weekdays. If there is an emergency, you and I will arrange a time to meet, if needed, outside of these office hours. My summer hours may be different and I will discuss any schedule changes with you at that time.
Each therapy session is usually 45-50 minutes. Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) sessions may be scheduled for 1 ½ hours.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call 24 hours in advance. It is my policy to charge for missed or late cancel appointments; this is intended to in part to have this time available to those who may need it or request it. There is no charge in case of illness, accident or emergency.
I do not prescribe medications but if I feel medication would be helpful, I will discuss this with you. We will work together to find a doctor or psychiatrist that will be a good fit for the concerns you are having.
My desire is that everyone will be able to benefit from therapy. During our initial contact, we will discuss your current financial situation and needs as well as your insurance coverage. A sliding fee scale is available for those who need it or request it.
Cash, check or credit card are available payment options. If you are using your insurance, your insurance plan will be billed according to their specifications and you are responsible for your co-insurance amount and/or deductible.
