Kimberly Esau, MA LMFT

My desire is to create a safe place where people can heal and move towards leading joyful, authentic lives.

Everyone is in a DIFFERENT place on their JOURNEY.

Mission Statement

To create a safe place where healing conversations occur, which allows people to move to a place of greater health and wholeness.

I work from an eclectic approach, which draws from the many theories that I have found to be helpful for clients. My desire is to help you draw on your strengths, and approach your life with curiosity, kindness, and compassion. My hope is to be a healing presence as you journey to greater health.

I believe that therapy is a partnership between the client and the therapist. We all enter into therapy with different needs and goals. For some, therapy is a safe place for them to share their story and have someone listen without judging or blaming-- a place for them to give voice to their experiences so they can heal. For others, it is about problem-solving and creative exploration. For most, we seek a combination of the two. My focus in therapy is helping you create the best life for you, by addressing past and present concerns that may be impacting the peace and joy that you experience in your life.

I understand the challenges related to finding a therapist that is a good fit for you. Research indicates that the most important determinant of success in the therapeutic process is the relationship between the client and therapist. For this reason, I encourage you to be your own best advocate. Don't give up and keep seeking until you find someone you feel safe with, who will honor your story and empower you to create a joyful life. I welcome your questions and will be happy to meet with you for a free consultation so that we can address any concerns you might have related to the therapy process.

I would welcome the opportunity to work with you.

“Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It's about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen." Brene Brown
